For more than 50 years, the Omerin Group has been producing electric cables for extreme conditions, from -190°C to +1400°C.
By using high performance insulating materials such as silicons, fibre glass, mineral fibres, Teflon*, Tefzel*, Kapton*, Mica, Nomex*, Kevlar*, polyolefines and other special thermoplastic and elastomer insulators, we are able to offer a large range of high-performance products covering a great number of applications in very broad spectrum of industries: electrothermal, electromechanical, metallurgical chemical, nuclear, rail, shipbuilding, aeronautical, etc. Braided insulating sheaths that can be varnished, impregnated or treated, oven door seals, fireproof sheaths thermocouple, compensation and extension cables, and industrial braids add still further to the available range. Electric wires and cables with thermoplastic insulation, coaxial and other low-current cables manufactured by our subsidiary POLYCABLE, flexible low and medium pressure pipes for the plumbing, valve and air-conditioning industry manufactured by our subsidiary IFT, flexible heating elements for the refrigeration industry and electrical heat tracing manufactured by our subsidiary FLEXELEC round off our product range.
